Scott has increased funding for state cancer research centers by $30 million. Scott has proposed budget calls for about $80 million in funding, an increase over the $50 million in the previous year's budget.
Scott is slated to appear at 2:30 p.m. at 21st Century Oncology’s Fort Myers headquarters. He’s expected to be joined by company executives and doctors.
